Home by the Numbers provides calculators, guides, a browser-local homeowner dashboard, and a paid workbook to help homebuyers and homeowners estimate the real cost of buying and owning a home. All content is educational and informational only.
2. Not professional advice
Nothing on this site constitutes financial, legal, tax, or real estate advice. Calculators and dashboards use simplified assumptions and user-entered estimates that may not apply to your situation. A manually entered home value is not an appraisal, automated valuation, or live market quote. Project spending is not assumed to increase market value dollar for dollar. 3. Paid products
The Real Cost to Buy Workbook is a digital download sold as a one-time purchase. Payment is processed through Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to these terms and our Refund Policy.
4. License for the workbook
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the workbook for your own homebuying decisions. You may not resell, redistribute, or share the file. You may modify formulas for personal use but may not distribute modified versions.

We strive for accuracy but make no warranties about completeness or correctness. Calculator assumptions, fee estimates, and guide content may become outdated as regulations, rates, and markets change. We may update content at any time without notice.
