1. What we collect

We collect minimal data. When you purchase a product, Stripe collects your payment information directly. We receive your email address and transaction details from Stripe to fulfill your order. If you sign up for our newsletter or join a waitlist, we collect your email address. Budget, savings, debt, and renovation information entered into the tools stays in your browser and is not sent to us. We do not collect phone numbers, physical addresses, or financial account details.

2. How we use your data

• Fulfill purchases and deliver digital products
• Send transactional emails (receipts, download links, support responses)
• Send newsletters or updates if you opted in (unsubscribe anytime)
• Analyze aggregate site usage through privacy-respecting analytics

3. Third-party services

We share data only with services necessary to operate:

• Stripe — payment processing (see Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Plausible — privacy-focused analytics (no cookies, no personal data)
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure

We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics are handled by Plausible, which operates without cookies and does not collect personal identifiers. Stripe may set functional cookies during checkout.

5. Browser storage and retention

Budget, savings, debt, and renovation tools save entries in local browser storage so they remain available after a refresh. This information stays on your device until you use the tool's clear-data control or clear browser storage. We retain transaction records as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Download tokens expire automatically and are not stored.

6. Your rights

You may request:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Unsubscribe from all communications at any time

7. Data security

Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers. Download links are cryptographically signed and time-limited. The site is served over HTTPS.

8. Children

We may update this policy as our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via email to subscribers.
